Motivational Coaching
Motivational Coaching; It is a process in which the coach helps and guides the client to show the performance closest to their potential and to achieve the desired results in their personal and professional life. During the coaching process, a person discovers his potential by getting to know himself better, strengthens himself in dealing with current motivational problems, and learns new ways to motivate himself by developing competencies to reach his goals.
What are the Benefits of Motivational Coaching?
The coaching process is aimed to help individuals in solving motivation problems in the short term, and in the long term by improving motivational competence, getting more effective results in private / business life, and living a happier life.
For this purpose, in addition to transferring practical methods and techniques to the person receiving coaching, educational studies are carried out to sustain personal development in the long term.
While positive developments are achieved in the self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth perception of the client, the permanence of these gains increases according to the “length” and “frequency” of the coaching process.
Gaining and developing a positive and optimistic perspective towards life and himself is ensured. There is an increase in their ability to cope with new problems and their psychological and physical resilience. In addition, psychological support is provided during the periods of mild depression, sadness, and depression experienced by the person who receives coaching, and it helps to overcome this process more easily.
Who Can Work with a Motivational Coach?
People of all ages who have motivation problems and want to gain competence in dealing with such problems in the short and long term can benefit from this service. In addition, people who want to know, discover and develop themselves and their own potential and who need to show determination to reach their goals in career and private life can benefit from this process.
How Does the Motivational Coaching Process Work?
Unless there is a special situation, motivation coaching starts with a basic coaching program that lasts at least 8 meetings (3 weeks). After the coaching goals are determined from the first meeting, applied studies are carried out in each meeting. The basic coaching program is aimed to determine the motivation profile in general, clarify the life goals with goal design, and eliminate the factors that cause motivation problems. During this process, instructive and educational studies are carried out to develop motivational competencies.
At the end of 8 interviews, a general evaluation is made for the stage reached, and if requested and deemed necessary, the coaching process continues in the form of weekly meetings in the context of different goals. In most cases, however, this period will suffice. However, the coaching process is an open-ended process that can continue as long as needed. However, this process does not need to take longer than 6 months under normal conditions. (This does not include intermittent meetings.) However, long-term (more than 6 months) coaching programs are generally preferred in performance-oriented (eg sales motivation) or goal-oriented (eg exam preparation) coaching studies.
Motivational coaching is based on the intricacies of the art of coaching and the foundations of the science of motivation. Motivational coaching is a result-oriented, creative and enjoyable process, based on the experience of about 15 years and the accumulation of studies with hundreds of people. Throughout the program, movies are used as a coaching and training tool. In addition, psychosomatic, energy practices, and subliminal studies are used when deemed necessary to achieve coaching goals.
At the end of each interview, exercises are given to apply in daily life. The notes of the meeting are shared with the person at the end of the meeting as a word file. Apart from the sessions, we continue to be in close communication and support via e-mail and telephone.
The coaching process is based on a strong relationship of trust for both parties and is extremely private. Conversation information is kept confidential forever and is never shared with third parties. (This is partly why the coaching processes are not referenced.) The success of the process is based on the “Psychological Contract”, that is, the promise of mutual responsibility, which is determined in the first meeting. Since the main stage of the coaching process is a highly integrated program, it is absolutely required to be completed. However, if deemed necessary, the process can be terminated at the request of either party. Certification is not given in coaching service.
